Academic Search Premier is a great place to start for almost any topic since it is multidisciplinary, but you will find other discipline-specific databases useful. For example, use Philosopher's Index if you are researching philosophy, PsycINFO if you are researching psychology, and Worldwide Political Science Abstracts if you are researching political science. I have also included additional research guides below (in case you want to explore other subjects).
