News and Magazine Archival Sources

Newspapers can also be a great place to find coverage of media and reviews. The Library subscribes to a number of different newspaper databases. Some of these databases are just for a single newspaper (ex: The New York Times), while others have a lot of different newspapers in one databases (ex: Global Newsstream).

Find Media Reviews and Articles

Reviews of media are usually found in newspapers, entertainment magazines and journals, and websites devoted to film, television, and other media. 

Also, reviews and discussion of media can also be found through websites devoted to media. Here are some ideas of places to look:

Film and Video Databases

Besides film streaming databases, the Library also has a large collection of DVDs. You can find DVDs through Library Search (the big search bar on the Library's website) or by browsing the collection in-person on the 3rd floor of the Multi-Tier Stacks (the Mudd side of the building).
