In light of The Claremont Colleges migrating to online instruction due to COVID-19 precautions, I wanted to remind you that I am available to assist faculty, staff and students, remotely.

As an Asian and Asian American Studies Librarian with The Claremont Colleges Library, I support students and faculty in their research, teaching, and learning with resources available at the Asian Library, Special Collections, and general collections. I provide specialized research consultations and collection management for Asian Studies, and for Asian American Studies.

For students, I can:

  • Answer your questions by email, phone, or in-person appointment

  • Help you find and work with primary source materials, especial those in original Chinese, Japanese, and Korean languages

  • Help you brainstorm and develop a research topic and discuss research strategies

  • Recommend resources pertaining to your topic

For Faculty and Staff, I can:

  • Introduce your students to primary source analysis

  • Introduce your students to research strategies and resources through course integrated information literacy sessions

  • Discuss ways to incorporate research skills into your class assignments

  • Purchase books and other materials in English as well as Asian languages to meet your curricula and research needs

My background:

  • MLIS, University of Pittsburgh

  • MA, Political Science, University of Pittsburgh

  • MA, English Literature, Sichuan International Studies University

  • BA, English, Sichuan Normal University
