Welcome to the Fall 2024 Night Owls guide! The Library is here for you during reading days and finals week to create space for brain breaks, de-stressing, snacks, coffee breaks and so much more! As is tradition, we will also be keeping the building open all day (24 hours!) between Dec 8-12.

Check out the tabs in this guide to see all that the Library has to offer. From Library-hosted events and activities, to study resources and self-care tips, to winter reading recommendations – there's something for everyone!

After you attend events, be sure to complete this survey to provide us feedback and be entered into a raffle for a $25 Visa gift card.

What is Night Owls?

Night Owls is The Claremont Colleges Library's finals week programming, activities, and events. At the end of every semester since 2015, our goal has been to provide opportunities for brain breaks, snack breaks, de-stressing, and relaxation while working on final exams and projects.

For Fall 2024, we are excited to offer longstanding programs such as Craft Night and Owl See You in the Stacks to help you incorporate breaks into your time spent at the Library, as well as offer events that set you up for success during finals, such as Fireside Writing and Stop & Breathe (an introduction to walking meditation).

Please check out the tabs in this guide for more information about each event listed below. You can also view this information on our Library Workshops & Events page. View/download the Fall 2024 Night Owls flyer.
