R for Statistical Analysis

Why use R?

R is an open source programming language widely used for statistical analysis and other types of data science work.

R also has a variety of packages to support data visualization that are very widely used in scientific research because they produce publication-quality graphs and charts.

How to get R

You can download the latest version of R from the R Project website.

You may also want to download the open source version of R Studio (a graphical user interface (GUI) development environment for R) from the Posit website.
