MDPI has supported academic communities since 1996 with the mission to foster open scientific exchange in all forms, across all disciplines. This online collection houses 208 diverse, peer-reviewed, open access journals are supported by over 35,500 academic editors and which serves scholars around the world. The information provided is freely available and all content is distributed under a Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY).
The DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals) was launched in 2003 at Lund University, Sweden, with 300 open access journals. Today, the independent database contains ca. 12000 open access journals covering all areas of science, technology, medicine, social science and humanities.
Journal of Applied Life Sciences International (2394-1103) aims to publish high quality papers in all areas of ‘applied life sciences’. By not excluding papers on the basis of novelty, this journal facilitates the research and wishes to publish papers as long as they are technically correct and scientifically motivated. The journal also encourages the submission of useful reports of negative results. This is a quality controlled, OPEN peer reviewed, open access INTERNATIONAL journal.
