Welcome to the course guide for the American Studies Seminar. This guide is the place to start for a selected menu of extra primary database and secondary sources for your review essay and presentations  for a fuller course of sources, please delve further into other research guides that might match your topic. 

This guide does include extra information on search strategies, Library Tutorials and Writing and Citing (including Zotero)

The Library Search (below)  is a good place to find both primary and secondary materials.  The Advanced Library Search allows you to do more complex searching that combines keywords.  Academic Search Premier is also a good place to begin for almost any subject, especially if you need more current sources.
