Biographical Snapshot

Lisa has a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology with a minor in History and a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science with an emphasis in Archival Studies from San Jose State University. Prior to her career as a librarian, she worked in accounting and finance for a medical device manufacturer including being on the "start-up" team for a manufacturing subsidiary in Switzerland.  In a voluntary capacity, Lisa helped to implement the permanent, local history exhibit, "Gem of the Foothills" at the Museum of History and Art, Ontario.  Non-library interests include volunteering at the Museum of History and Art, Ontario in the capacity of both docent and Museum Associates board member, travel, historical locations and architecture and reading biographies of a variety of people in history as well as historical fiction.
