Welcome! I created this course guide to assist you with finding library resources for your annotated bibliography for your Diversity Equality and Inequities class. Please feel free to contact me at any point throughout the research process if you need help or want a friendly person to help you walk through the research process.
For your annotated bibliography, you will need five (5) sources that you found through library databases or other library resources.
ERIC is the major database for the field of education.
Organize your research
Citation mangers are tools that organize your research and help you save time. You can even create bibliographies and in-text citations!
The library supports two citation managers:
Zotero is a free, open-source tool that lives in your browser. There are plug-ins for Microsoft Office so you can use it to cite in-text.
RefWorks is a subscription-based tool. There are plug-ins for Microsoft Office so you can use it to cite in-text. RefWorks requires a Claremont Colleges Library log-in, but you can continue to use it even after you graduate.
See below for guides on using each of these tools.
