Places you can go in the Library: Honnold Third Floor

Asian Library

The Asian Library is located on the south side of the third floor of Honnold.

A distinguished library within The Claremont Colleges Library, the mission of the Asian Library is to support The Colleges’ curricula in the arts & humanities, social sciences, STEM, and language studies. We also serve the research needs of the wider world of scholars. The Asian Library is noted for its rare book, manuscript, and artifact collections from China, Japan, and Korea. Building on the strength of our historical collections, we acquire new materials in print and digital formats in the vernacular languages in support of research, teaching, and learning.

Resource Sharing Office

The Resource Sharing Office is located on the third floor of Honnold on the south side of the building.

Resource Sharing allows you to request articles that are not available in the Library either as online full-text or in paper. You can also use Resource Sharing to request a book if it is not owned by the library.

Media Viewing Room

The library has a room available for small groups to watch videos together.

The Media Viewing Room is located on the third floor of the Honnold side of the library in room 301.  The room is equiped with a VCR and a non-region specific DVD player.

The Media Viewing Room can be checked out for a period of four hours.

Just come to the Honnold/Mudd Library's Services Desk and ask for the key.
