Connecting to the "CUC-Guest" Network

How to log-in to the CUC-Guest network:

Wireless access is available to certain community patrons through the CUC-GUEST wireless network. The following users are eligible for guest wireless access upon presenting a valid Claremont Colleges Library card:

  • students, faculty, and staff of the Claremont School of Theology
  • Visiting Scholars; Alumni of the Claremont Colleges
  • Spouse or Child (16-22) of current Claremont Colleges Faculty or Staff
  • Rancho Santa Ana Botanical Gardens staff
  • Retired Claremont Colleges staff with retired staff code on Claremont Colleges library card

1. First click on the wireless icon that appears on your laptop. On PC, this icon is on the right side of the taskbar and looks like this: . On a Mac, this icon is located on the right side of the menu-bar and looks like this: . From the list of networks that appears, select the CUC-GUEST network.

2. Once you have selected the CUC-GUEST network, in the window that appears enter the current security key and click Join.
Note: This security key can be obtained by asking at the Services Desk.


3. You should now be connected to the wireless network.
