Classical/Ancient Sources

Classical scholars and reference works (like Brill's New Pauly) all use the same format when referring to classical/ancient texts: Author names and titles are abbreviated and there are no page numbers, only book/section and/or line numbers:

For Example: Tac. Ann. 15,22,2   =  Tacitus Annals 15,22,2
