Adding/Editing Questions

To add questions to your survey:

  1. Click "Add Question" under the "Name/Email fields" on the left side of the screen.
  2. Enter your question text, then choose the question type.
    • You have several choices for question types:
      • Radio buttons - single multiple choice answer
      • Checkboxes - more than one answer
      • Dropdown box - single multiple choice but takes up less space than Radio buttons
      • Single line of text - shorter open-ended questions
      • Multiple lines of text - longer, essay-type open-ended questions
    • You can also make the question required by checking the box under selection type.
  3. After choosing the question type, add response choices (you don't add choices for single and multiple line text boxes). Click "Add Selection" toward the bottom of the box to add more than one choice. NOTE: Each answer choice has it's own line.
  4. Once you've added all of the answer choices you want, click "Save Question."

To edit questions and answers:

Editing Questions:

  1. Click the edit (cog) icon next to the question.
  2. Edit the question at the top of the Edit Question screen.
  3. Click "Save Question" when you're done.

Editing Answer Choices:

  1. Click the edit (cog) icon for a question.
  2. Edit the text of the answer choices in the Selections section.
  3. You can also add more choices by clicking Add selection.
  4. Click "Save Question" when you're done.

Reordering Questions/Answers

Reordering Questions:

  1. Scroll to the bottom of your questions and click "Reorder questions."
  2. When the reorder screen appears, drag and drop the questions into whatever order you'd like - just like you would for links in link boxes.
  3. Click "Update Order."

Reordering Answers:

  1. At the bottom of the answer choices for the question you want to reorder, click "Reorder selections."
  2. Drag and drop the answer choices in whatever order you'd like them to appear - just like you would for links in a link box.
  3. Click "Update Order."

Deleting Questions

To Delete Questions:

  1. Click the red X icon just after the question text.
  2. When the "Are you sure...?" dialog box appears, click YES.

NOTE: Deleting questions can't be taken back - all question information will be gone, including answer choices and any statistics.

To Delete Answer Choices:

  1. Click the edit (cog) icon just after the question text.
  2. When the Edit Question box comes up, click the red X next to the answer choice you want to delete.

As with deleting questions, deleting answer choices is irreversible. The answer text and any associated statistics will be gone.
