To locate or browse novels and other works of literature from Britain and America in the Claremont Colleges Library (CCL):

  • CCL uses the Library of Congress Classification System to organize physical books in the library.
    • American Literature:  call numbers beginning with PS - Multitier Stack level 6-7
    • British Literature:  call numbers beginning with PR - Multitier Stack level 5-6
